Terms and Conditions
Welcome to World Talent Olympiad. By participating in our competitions, submitting a video, or using our services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.
1. Eligibility & Guardian Consent
- General Eligibility: The World Talent Olympiad is open to participants of all ages.
- Minors: If a participant is under 18 years of age, explicit consent from a parent or legal guardian is required. By submitting a video of a minor, the person submitting represents and warrants that they are the legal guardian and consent to these Terms on the minor's behalf.
- Disqualification: We reserve the right to disqualify any participant who violates these terms, submits fraudulent information, or engages in inappropriate behavior.
2. Entry Fee and Registration
- Entry Fee: To participate in the World Talent Olympiad, a non-refundable entry fee of ₹499 is required per submission.
- Purpose of Fee: This fee covers the administrative costs of processing your entry, having our team review the talent submission, and generating the digital Certificate of Appreciation.
- No Guarantee of Winning: The entry fee is strictly for participation and processing; it does not guarantee a top rank, cash reward, or social media feature. All entry fees are final and non-refundable once the video has been successfully submitted and accepted for review.
3. Video Submission Guidelines
- Originality: All submitted videos must feature the actual talent of the participant. Plagiarized or falsely attributed content will result in immediate disqualification.
- Content Restrictions: Submissions must be family-friendly. Videos containing nudity, explicit language, violence, hate speech, or dangerous acts will be immediately rejected and reported to appropriate authorities if necessary under the Information Technology Act, 2000.
- Media Rights (PR Consent): By submitting a video, you grant World Talent Olympiad a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and publicly display the participant's name, image, likeness, and video for promotional, PR, and marketing purposes across our social media platforms and website.
4. Judging, Ranks, and Rewards
- Skill-Based Competition: All submissions are evaluated by our internal review team based on objective criteria (e.g., creativity, execution, presentation). This is a competition of skill, not a game of chance.
- MVP Cash Rewards (Temporary Promotional Phase): For the first 15 days of our operational launch, the top 3 ranked participants for the designated period will receive the following cash rewards:
- 1st Rank: ₹2500
- 2nd Rank: ₹1500
- 3rd Rank: ₹1000
- Standard Rewards & PR Feature:
- Top 10: The top 10 ranked participants will have dedicated posters featuring their talent published on World Talent Olympiad’s official social media channels.
- Certificates: All individuals who successfully submit a valid talent video and pay the entry fee will receive a digital "Certificate of Appreciation."
- Taxation: If applicable, participants are solely responsible for any taxes associated with the receipt of cash rewards.
5. Limitation of Liability
World Talent Olympiad is not responsible for technical failures, WhatsApp delivery delays, or network issues that prevent a video from being successfully submitted, paid for, or reviewed. We do not guarantee any specific social media reach, fame, or future employment as a result of participating or being featured on our platforms.
6. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of your participation in the World Talent Olympiad shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
Privacy Policy
1. Information We Collect
To process your participation in the World Talent Olympiad, we collect the following personal data via WhatsApp and our forms:
- Participant Details: Full name, age, and location.
- Guardian Details (if applicable): Parent or legal guardian's name and contact number.
- Media Data: The talent video submission and any photos provided for social media posters.
- Contact Information: WhatsApp number and email address (for certificate delivery).
- Payment Details: Bank account or UPI ID (strictly for the top 3 winners during the promotional phase to transfer cash rewards).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your data strictly for the following purposes:
- To process your ₹199 entry fee.
- To review and evaluate the talent submission.
- To issue and deliver the digital Certificate of Appreciation.
- To design and publish promotional posters of the Top 10 participants on our social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.).
- To process cash reward payouts to winners.
- To communicate updates regarding the competition via WhatsApp.
3. Children’s Privacy (DPDP Act Compliance)
We are committed to protecting the privacy of minors. We do not process the personal data of anyone under the age of 18 without verifiable consent from a parent or legal guardian. We do not use children's data for targeted behavioral advertising or track them across third-party platforms.
4. Data Retention and Deletion (7-Day Deletion Policy)
We respect your privacy and do not permanently store your media files. We only hold your submitted talent video for the time necessary to review it for the competition. Within seven (7) days of announcing the final results for that competition cycle, all submitted talent videos will be permanently deleted from our databases and local storage. We do not retain, archive, or build a database of user video files after the competition concludes. Posters and PR materials created for the Top 10 winners will remain on our public social media feeds as per the granted media rights, but the original video files will be destroyed.
5. Data Sharing and Security
- Third Parties: We do not sell your personal data. We only share data with trusted service providers (e.g., payment gateways for the entry fee and reward distribution, or graphic designers for creating posters) who are bound by strict confidentiality agreements.
- Public Display: As part of the competition, the names and likenesses of the Top 10 participants will be made public on our social media channels.
- Security: We implement reasonable security practices to protect your data from unauthorized access. However, no digital platform is 100% secure.
6. Your Rights
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request the correction of inaccurate data.
- Withdraw your consent at any time (which will result in the removal of your video from our competition and social media, though the ₹199 entry fee remains non-refundable).
- Request the deletion of your data once the competition cycle concludes.
